Delivering for the Martensville Constituency
Your Saskatchewan Party government continues to do good work here in the Martensville Constituency.
A number of local highway projects have been announced and will be moving ahead this summer:
- The access road between Dalmeny and Highway 16 is scheduled to be completely rebuilt this year.
- The south access point into Martensville will be redesigned and moved further south to increase safety and allow for a greater volume of traffic in and out of the city.
- Work will begin this year on building a new Highway 305 between Warman and Dalmeny, linking Highway 11 with Highway 16.
- Work continues this year with twinning on Highway 11 between Saskatoon and Prince Albert. The section between Hague and Rosthern will be open later this year with the entire project to Prince Albert completed by the end of 2012.
Capital funding is also being made available to proceed with construction on the new Warman Middle Years School. Roofing projects will also be completed on schools in Dalmeny, Hague and Hepburn.
The provincial government is also working with the RM of Corman Park on a flood protection program that will mitigate potential flooding of communities and rural yard sites.
Work continues this year on the new water project in Hepburn, with an estimated completion date for late summer.
After too many years of capital needs being ignored by the previous government, it is refreshing and exciting to see all of this work being done at this time. This government’s growth agenda is working and we are now seeing the dividends.
